Forbes’ World’s Billionaires list was released and 234 women from around the have found their names on the list this year(2020).

Also, a familiar face returns as the world’s richest woman. Stock prices and exchange rates are used by the Forbes from 18 March, 2020 to calculate the net worths.

According to Forbes’ list, Alice Walton is the richest woman in the world with an estimated worth of $54.4 billion.

Last year, Alice W. was the second richest woman in the world and this year she became the richest by swapping Francoise B. Meyers who was the richest woman in the world in the 2019 list.

Alice leads a programme at the Walton Foundation which distributes $300 million to schools in the U.S. to invest in facilities.
